Computer Generated Objects... Free or Commercial. 3D Max Models, 3DS 3D Studio Models, Maya Models, Lightwave, Bryce, Filmbox, and the Myriad of Modelling software that has its own distinct format For the Avid 3D Max Models enthusiast though, Creating Awesome Computer Generated Objects is a Breeze, Everything you need for a realistic Render or Animation, Using a Model created in 3D max, is right at hand in the 3D Studio max program and you shouldn't need anything else. The tools are intuitive (After a While of getting used to them) Extensive, and powerful. With this in mind, many 3D Studio max models in Revision 3 and Upwards are available throughout most of the 3D Model Libraries on the web. Awesome realistic, Accurate 3D Max models are available as Commercial models and as Free Sample Downloads, The Good thing about working exclusively with 3D Max models is that the Texturing can be kept safely in place without any drama's, as long as you stay in the Max environment. Export to 3DS will cause Texture mapping Coordinates to drop out when loading them to other Software like Lightwave, Bryce, Maya, etc. But when opening a 3DS Textured model in the Max Environment, all the coordinates are recognised correctly, and Bammm, it all falls into place. Working with other formats such as Lightwave is unfamiliar territory to this editor, the few Hours (20 - 30) that I have had at the controls of Lightwave were spent mostly trying to navigate through a Completely Different Computer Generated Objects environment than I was Used to, Making a Frustrating Time, and Not productive at all. Lightwave is a Tremendously powerful program, But you really need to learn it before learning any other software, or perhaps exclusively, without touching other software, the different approaches of each program can leave you scratching your head sometimes. Check through the FREE 3D Max Models from ProLithic Right Here at Crash3D, and check out the Awesome Commercial Gallery of fantastic detailed realistic Computer Generated Objects and 3DS Models throughout the Pages...
